I've been away at the International Conference for Mindfulness, which was held at the beautiful Bangor University. Over a period of 5 days - I had the opportunity to listen to amazing speakers, network with some fantastic people who I will be staying in touch with and hopefully working closely with in the future.
I also had a conversation on stage with Mindfulness in Schools Project 's lovely Faiy, about the Peace in Mind campaign focussing on the project in Warrington.
I receive so many messages from parents and teachers asking when this will be rolled out to different areas. I'm positive that we will be able to do this. But we need your voices too. If you would like to see mindfulness in your schools, please contact your local MP and let them know about our work and how much it is needed.
In this current climate, we need to plant seeds of resilience, empathy and unity. We need to give our children and young people tools to cope with the world and the ability to have the mental space to question before acting.
